Eikna Romance Editorial Policy

Eikna Romance helps readers compare the appeal and limitations of romance books. Our recommendations should show why a title belongs, identify the evidence behind important details and give uncertainty the space it needs.

The Eikna Editorial Team byline names the publication’s editorial identity. Current review drafts are researched assessments. They do not claim that a reviewer finished the novel, and this policy does not describe those drafts as approved for publication.

What we cover and how we choose

We cover romance across pairings, settings and relationship dynamics. A specific shelf needs an inclusion reason that the evidence supports. Pairing, identity, subgenre, mood, heat and ending are separate questions. A broad marketing category cannot settle every one of them.

A starter collection is labelled as a starter. A list is not called comprehensive or bestselling without a stated, checked basis. Useful omissions and cautions belong beside the recommendation; a familiar title does not receive a place merely because it attracts searches.

Writing assistance and responsibility

AI writing assistance is used in drafting and editing this project. That assistance does not establish a fact, supply a reading experience or replace editorial review. We do not describe assisted prose as exclusively human-written. Original summaries should express the particular reader decision, with no invented anecdotes, quotations or personal reactions.

The organizational byline does not imply a particular staff size or a professional qualification. A future firsthand review requires an identified reviewer’s reading evidence. A researched assessment must disclose its method and attribute the criticism it uses.

Sources and uncertainty

Important claims retain sources and check dates. Work identity stays separate from edition details. Publisher and author materials are useful for their own descriptions; reported critical responses remain attributed. Repeated accounts derived from one source do not become several independent witnesses.

Our assessment method owns the detailed rules for evidence states, qualitative verdicts, community samples and conflicting records. No rating, reader majority, heat level or ending is invented to make a page appear complete.

Commercial relationships

Affiliate revenue must not determine the editorial conclusion or the order of recommendations. A commercial link needs a checked destination and a disclosure naming the applicable program near the purchasing content. Review copies, material relationships or sponsored placement, if used, require visible disclosure; none grants control over a verdict.

The current editorial preview has publisher edition links and no activated affiliate purchase buttons. Saved program IDs are configuration information, not proof that every destination or site registration is approved. No current price or subscription availability is treated as permanent book metadata.

Corrections and changes

When a factual correction is supported, the record should retain the old claim, the new evidence, the change and its date. A correction that affects a reader’s choice should carry a visible note on the article. A changed opinion should be identified as a revised assessment rather than disguised as a factual correction.

There is no public corrections email or form configured yet. We will not print a fictitious address or promise a response time. A real correction channel remains a launch requirement.

EIKNA and LRR

Eikna Romance is an editorial and research source. EIKNA remains the authority for its own discovery database. Facts originating in EIKNA cannot independently confirm themselves after being repeated here. Field origins and underlying source lineage remain part of the research record.

LRR informs the useful sequence of reader decisions in a review. Its prose and scores are not imported as our own assessment. The publications have distinct scopes. Future EIKNA submissions require identity resolution, live taxonomy/schema mapping and proposal review; current supplements are incomplete and unsubmitted.

What has to pass before publication

Check the evidence for the claims the page actually makes, retain meaningful conflicts, confirm edition and cover matches, inspect internal links and metadata, and check the rendered desktop/mobile layout. Commercial links need their own verification and disclosures. Unknowns can be disclosed; unsupported reassuring claims cannot be substituted for them.

The publication checklist records what is complete and what remains pending. Structural checks do not constitute visual QA or book verification. Current pages remain unpublished drafts.
